In June of 2011 my husband and I hoped on a plane with our two cats, some clothes, and a few nick-nacks and moved to Costa Rica.  We picked a small town to live in that is no where near the beach; we love it.  We have had some good times and some rough times, but we wouldn’t trade it for the world.  This blog is just about our daily dealings living here.  Some of the things we have been through and some helpful advice if you ever decide to visit or move here.  All of this is just from personal experience.  Feel free to ask my any questions and I will do my best to answer them.  The town we live in is just over 8,000 people and I can count on one hand how many Gringos live here, including the two of us.  I feel that we did leave a lot behind, but we have gained more than we ever left.  Pura Vida!
